Floor Technician – Romeoville, IL
Location: 1137 W. Remington Blvd., Romeoville, IL 60446 – online applications only.
Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 pm – 4:30 am (full‑time). Pay: $16.50–$17.00 per hour.
Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.
Essential Functions
Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment and utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface treatments, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
