Summary Assumes the primary caretaker role for psychiatric patients ages Pre‑K through adolescents which includes activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, and the management of harmful behaviors. The Program Specialist I also participates in crisis intervention, teaching, group process and on call as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Experience in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred
Pediatric experience preferred
CPI Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children’s Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date
CPR - Heartsaver required within 60 days of start date
CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date
