Salary & Benefits:
$5000 SIGN ON BONUS
Pay range is $26.20 - $37.45 per hour
Hours are 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 6 days a week
As a Maintenance Generalist, you will work cross‑functionally across every area of our facility, maintaining equipment and ensuring safety through problem solving and proactive upkeep. We invest in continued growth and skills development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be able and willing to furnish your own tools.
REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of mechanic work experience (documented in the application) or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program. A combination of employers is acceptable if experience totals at least 2 years.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation.
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) proficiency.
Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills.
Physical: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs occasionally; 20 lbs frequently; stand on a hard surface up to 12 hours per day; work in confined and tall spaces; operate a ladder or lift; repetitive gripping, pushing, pulling; overhead work; tolerate temperatures –25°C to >100°C; possible outdoor work.
