Project Manager | Fremont, MI Salary Range:

$86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closure of manufacturing projects, including new product introductions, process improvements, and equipment upgrades.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with production goals and business strategies.

Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources (personnel, materials, equipment) to ensure timely and cost‑effective completion.

Coordinate and collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to production, quality, safety, and supply chain disruptions.

Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes through project implementation.

Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions effectively to all stakeholders.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience managing full lifecycle projects within a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and quality control principles.

PMP certification or equivalent recognized project management qualification.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and cross‑functional teams effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Proficiency with manufacturing‑specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Experience managing capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.

Familiarity with automation or robotics integration projects.

Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design review.
