What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage and monitor large projects or processes within the regulatory reporting function, focusing on capital
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to business lines and leaders regarding accounting policies and procedural changes
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and analyze new products and best practices
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and standardize new regulatory reporting requirements
Coach and delegate tasks to junior professionals, fostering a collaborative team environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent field
Minimum 9+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field within the Banking or Financial Services Industry
Advanced knowledge of accounting practices, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards
Strong understanding of bank accounting and financial controls
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent field
Advanced database skills (Access, SQL, Oracle, SAS)
Knowledge of European Basel III capital reporting
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification
Experience with Microsoft Office products
