Associate Consultant at Harba Solutions | Engineering & Technology
Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process and laboratory instrumentation, ensuring all equipment operates within defined tolerances and regulatory standards.
Execute calibration tasks on a wide range of manufacturing and utility systems, including autoclaves, lyophilizers, temperature controllers, pressure gauges, and transmitters.
Work independently to schedule, plan, and complete monthly calibration assignments across diverse environments—cleanrooms, labs, rooftops, and mechanical areas.
Document all work in accordance with GDP and internal documentation control procedures; maintain accurate calibration records and certification logs.
Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to resolve equipment performance issues and support investigations or deviations.
Support validation and qualification efforts for new or modified equipment, ensuring all instruments meet cGMP and site standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration efficiency, reduce downtime, and strengthen compliance systems.
Perform risk assessments and provide input on equipment reliability and maintenance strategies.
Ensure adherence to all site safety programs and radiation protection guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
Provide technical mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and calibration best practices.
Maintain flexibility to work occasional off-shifts or weekends to meet production or project needs.
Qualifications
Associate degree in instrumentation, engineering technology, or related discipline preferred; equivalent hands‑on experience considered.
Minimum of 6 years of calibration or metrology experience within a regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device environment.
Demonstrated expertise with autoclaves, lyophilizers, and other process‑critical equipment.
Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, and international regulatory requirements for equipment calibration and maintenance.
Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics.
Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently in field‑based environments, including unconditioned spaces and elevated areas.
Proven attention to detail and adherence to documentation standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all daily activities.
