We’re seeking a
skilled and highly motivated Maintenance Technician
to help maintain our community and deliver exceptional living experiences for our residents.
Job Description Summary The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance across apartments, common areas, and amenity spaces, prepares vacant units for new move‑ins, conducts preventive maintenance, assists with cleaning, and monitors grounds.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair buildings, covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, pools, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.
Complete all service requests/work orders within 24 hours as directed by the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
Log all assigned work orders accurately and promptly.
Prepare vacant apartments through the turnover process, including maintenance, painting, cleaning, and carpet cleaning.
Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in equipment like trucks and street sweepers.
Assist in ordering supplies for the property.
Clean internal and external areas of buildings, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and washing windows.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED and 1‑2 years of direct experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician for an apartment community, or equivalent education and experience.
High‑rise and lease‑up experience preferred.
EPA I or II, Universal, or HVAC certification required.
CPO Certification plus pool maintenance experience is a plus.
Thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Previous experience with preventive maintenance, vendor relations, and organizing work orders.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
Experience with Onesite, Yardi, or other property management software is a plus.
