Summary:
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the initial impression of the school, keeping the front area organized, clean, and welcoming. This position provides administrative and customer service support for the Admissions department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary: functions as Director of First Impressions for the campus, including but not limited to:
Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel
Answers incoming telephone calls within 3 rings, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are not available
Welcomes on‑site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
Receives, sorts, and routes mail
Manage student data (CVUE, LMS) to ensure the school’s requirements are met
Ensures that accurate, timely and thorough student records are created in compliance with company standards during the Admissions Process and are forwarded to the appropriate departments
Develop/manage/maintain reports for the Admissions department
Communicate with the corporate office for approval/denial of High school diplomas as needed
Work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
Travel to other sites as needed
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Must be detail oriented and professional
Ability to apply analysis in order to generate and implement solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Requirements at least 1–2 years of demonstrated administrative experience
Anticipated starting salary is based on experience and qualifications.
Compensation Range $18 - $18 USD
