This roleis responsible foridentifyingand engaging new potential customers, understanding their freight challenges, and setting the stage for meaningful, long-term partnerships. You’llprospect into complex supply chains, learn the language oflogistics, and open doors for Account Executives and our Managed Transportation team. Ifyou’recompetitive, articulate, and energized by uncoveringopportunitywhere others see noise,this is whereyou’llthrive. WhatYou’llDo Research & Target: Identifycompanies in key verticals (aerospace, building materials, manufacturing, etc.) that align with AZL’s service profile. Outreach & Engage: Use email, LinkedIn, and phone to connect withlogisticsdecision-makers — from shipping managers to supply chain directors. Qualify Opportunities: Understand the customer’s freight profile, pain points, and technology needs todeterminepotential fit. Collaborate with Sales: Schedule and prepare qualified meetings for Account Executives;participatein early conversations to ensure a seamless handoff. Leverage Technology: Maintainaccuratepipeline data in the CRM (Salesdash) and use AI-enabled tools, dashboards, and analytics to refine outreach. Partner with Marketing: Provide feedback on messaging, campaigns, and vertical-specific insights that improve lead generation. Track & Report: Own your daily metrics — outreach volume, connect rate, meetings booked, and qualified leads. Who You Are Naturally curious, articulate, and resilient. Energized by connecting with new people andlearningtheir business. Skilled at written and verbal communication:clear, concise, and human. Comfortable with CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern sales tools. Driven to grow into a full-cycle sales or account management role within 12–24 months. Prior experience inlogistics, SaaS, or B2B sales is a plus. Success Metrics Monthly qualified meetingsbooked. Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate. Contribution tonew-businessgross margin goals.
