Project Coordinator
Ludvik Electric Co. is a premier electrical contractor operating in Arizona, Colorado, and Utah with over $2 billion in installations. We have a corporate office in Lakewood, CO and satellite offices in Phoenix, AZ and Salt Lake City, UT. Now, at our Phoenix location, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Project Coordinator to support our growing business.
About the Role Assists the Project Manager with adherence to contract documents, including plans, specifications, permits, technical elements, scheduling activities, and estimates. Provides project scheduling and communication coordination. Manages data and material resources throughout the life of a project to achieve scope, cost, time, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Exhibits behaviors consistent with Ludvik Electric’s mission, values, and policies.
Responsibilities
Prepares and maintains project files, submittals, shop drawings, layout drawings, as‑built drawings, and O&M manuals.
Prepares and negotiates purchase orders and subcontracts.
Distributes and maintains current drawings, specifications, and product data.
Provides leadership, sets an example, and responds promptly to team members.
Communicates with clients and promptly resolves issues, providing value and technical input.
Owns material procurement, submittals, and releases according to the project schedule.
Performs pricing of scope changes, including take‑off, quotation requests, Accubid estimates, scope letters, budgets, and related forms.
Assembles and inputs data for case studies and efficiency factors.
Builds P6 schedules, creates and prints P6 reports and curves.
Gathers backup information for project presentations and dispute resolution.
Completes gross margin statements for review, including pulling reports, resource cost projections, estimates‑to‑complete, gap analysis, and more.
May be assigned Project Manager duties on a small project.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of electrical experience, AAS, or BS in Construction Management or related field.
Prefer minimum 4 years as a Project Coordinator in electrical construction or equivalent.
Prefer understanding of construction accounting principles and job costing.
Prefer Newforma experience.
Pay rate is a good‑faith estimate; Ludvik reserves the right to adjust compensation based on experience, merit, quality systems, and other factors.
