Ludvik Electric is seeking an

experienced Project Manager

to manage electrical construction projects from start-up to close-out. Candidates with industrial and/or water treatment project experience preferred.

Salary starts at $110k.

Summary Manages and directs project from start-up to close-out. Understanding of and adherence to contract documents including plans, specifications, permits, technical elements, scheduling activities, and estimates. Coordinates project scheduling and communication. Manages data and material resources throughout the life of a project to achieve predetermined objectives of scope, cost, time, quality, and participant satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities Prepares subcontracts, Jobsite Labor Manual, Shop Drawings and Layout Drawings, project budget and schedule of values, as-builts, and O&M manuals.

Prepares, maintains, and enforces Project Schedule

Hires, transfers, and dismisses electricians as required to maintain continuity of the workforce

Prepares and enforces Project Strategy Document

Prepares and negotiates Purchase Orders

Prepares and reviews submittals

Prepares monthly billings and submits to client on time

Obtains all required permits

Distributes, maintains, and enforces current drawings, specifications, and product data

Responsible for:

Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring that project is in strict compliance with OSHA and Ludvik safety standards

Quality of the installed work

Subcontractor performance

Material management, including jobsite tools and equipment, at jobsites

Proactively resolving disputes without the need for litigation

Completion and monitoring of control estimate

Set up and maintenance of files according to Policies and Procedures

Management of daily affairs to stay on budget and on schedule

Correct timecard reporting and cost reporting

Project cash management

Prompt pricing and settling of change orders

Adherence to and enforcement of Ludvik Policies and Procedures

Setting priorities to achieve goals

Personal project log

Solicitation of additional electrical scope to existing contracts

Performance reviews of support staff

Close‑out job in accordance with Ludvik standards and contract requirements

Provides leadership, sets examples and sets standards

Responds promptly to needs of fellow team members

Promptly resolves issues with clients

Provides value engineering and technical input to the project team to help satisfy the client’s needs

Ensures all installations are neat and workmanlike and conform to applicable code standards

Qualifications Possesses good working knowledge of codes that affect work: NEC, UBC, LSC, NFPA, UPC, etc.

Demonstrated ability to manage projects up to

$5 - $15 million

Projects a professional and positive attitude

Education and Experience

5+ years as Project Manager I or equivalent (as approved by Vice President‑AZ.)
