Job Overview Our client, a leading professional services firm within the investment banking industry, is seeking an Associate, Business Management – Business Selection & Client Onboarding to join their team in New York City. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to support critical business management functions, streamline client onboarding processes, and collaborate across multiple teams in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Job Function
Play a hands‑on role in reviewing new banking mandates, ensuring the firm can move forward with transactions confidently and in line with internal risk standards.
Partner daily with deal teams and compliance to spot and resolve potential conflicts or reputational risks tied to upcoming client engagements.
Contribute to the client approval and onboarding process, helping ensure regulatory documentation and due diligence are complete and accurate.
Gain exposure to a broad range of corporate finance activity—M&A, capital markets, and restructuring—while developing a deep understanding of how deals get cleared.
Join a collaborative, detail‑driven environment where you’ll balance analytical review, problem‑solving, and regulatory insight across multiple business lines.
Job Requirements
2‑4 years of AML/KYC experience preferably in an investment bank or corporate advisory firm.
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience onboarding public and private entities.
