Entry-Level Project Manager (SWPPP/Autocad) - Winter Springs, FL

Create Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) for construction activities
Review and create NPDES related permits
Research site information by navigating state and federal GIS site
Create and assess the best solution as it pertains to soil characteristics, topographical features, surrounding impaired waters, information provided from additional research
Build knowledge of local and national stormwater regulations using day to day experience with construction general permits
Read, review, and analyze land surveys and construction plans
Construct technical narratives relevant to site specific information and stormwater permit requirements
Communication, both written and verbal, with clients and coworkers is an enormous part of this position
Other tasks and duties assigned may be assigned
Requirements
Training Certification or Associates Degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology preferred but not required
Working knowledge in AutoCAD is a must, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Basic knowledge of construction, civil engineering principles, practices and methods as applicable to a stormwater design desired
Highly detailed oriented, strong problem solving, documentation and research as well as analytical skills
Team-oriented but able to work autonomously with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of topography maps
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. Be able to lift, pull and push materials/orders. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday.
