The Project Manager for Allivet by Tractor Supply is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day activities of one or more business‑sponsored projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.

This role is ideal for a mid‑level Project Manager who began their career as a Business Analyst and brings strong requirements, process, and analytical expertise alongside disciplined project execution skills. In addition to leading all phases of the project lifecycle, this role partners closely with business and IT stakeholders to define business needs, translate those needs into clear requirements and solutions, and ensure outcomes align with strategic objectives. The Project Manager proactively manages resources, risks, dependencies, and financials while maintaining a strong focus on value delivery and quality. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage, direct, and plan projects consisting of one or more cross‑functional project teams Lead projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and requirements definition through delivery and post‑implementation support Leverage Business Analyst experience to facilitate discovery sessions, gather and document business and functional requirements, and translate them into actionable project plans Partner with business and IT stakeholders to evaluate needs, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to processes, systems, products, and workflows Proactively set direction by creating detailed project plans, defining timelines and milestones, identifying dependencies, and estimating resource needs Manage project budgets and financial implications, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting Identify risks and issues that may stall project progress and either resolve them directly or recommend alternative solutions Track progress and communicate project status, risks, and decisions on a regular basis to all impacted stakeholders Build and execute communication and change management plans to ensure readiness and alignment across upstream and downstream partners Act as an advocate for change by articulating the strategic value of initiatives and influencing stakeholders to drive adoption Solicit and incorporate internal and external customer feedback to support continuous improvement Communicate and negotiate effectively with business leaders, IT management, vendors, and peers with confidence and composure QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

6+ years of experience delivering complex projects, with demonstrated progression from Business Analyst or similar analytical role into Project Management. IT experience preferred; eCommerce experience strongly preferred. Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent years of related work experience will be considered. Business Analysis & Financial Skills

Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution evaluation Ability to identify business problems, analyze data, and recommend practical solutions Proficiency in project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking for complex initiatives Certifications & Methodologies

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments; SCRUM experience a plus Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of project management and business analysis methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, PRINCE2, etc.) Advanced skills in MS Project, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Jira, and Visio Experience with Project/Portfolio Management tools such as Planview, Clarity, or equivalent Understanding of CRM tools desired Experience in an eComm, ideally D2C environment desired Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make data‑driven decisions Comfortable presenting to and influencing stakeholders at varying levels of the organization Accountable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment WHY ALLIVET?
