Job Description $5K Sign‑on bonus for eligible new hires! ($2,500 paid after 30 days, $2,500 paid after 60 days)

Position Summary Seeking a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician to provide advanced multi‑skilled maintenance and technical engineering support in a TPM‑driven environment. Lead mentoring of technicians across all levels while driving site and corporate objectives with minimal supervision. Requires deep expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, CNCs, industrial hydraulics, operating Power Industrial Trucks (PIT), and maintaining compliance with licensing and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

State Board of Electricity Journeyman or Master license required.

Provide multi‑skilled maintenance and technical engineering support focused on customer service, quality, cost and productivity in a TPM environment.

Lead projects and mentor/coach technicians at all levels.

Maintain responsibility and performance requirements for the Maintenance team, including Technician levels I, II, & III.

Support site and corporate goals and strategic objectives with minimal direction.

Promote a respectful workplace environment.

Continuous job‑related training and maintain current electrical license.

Operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT).

Electrical Skills Required

Diagnose and troubleshoot high‑complexity issues in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.).

Proficient with internal networks and MES equipment integration.

Use oscilloscope and advanced metering technologies to troubleshoot instruments and equipment.

Understand functions, components and operating principles of protective relays, over‑current relays, re‑closing relays, voltage relays, auxiliary relays, solid‑state relays, differential relays, distance relays, pilot wire relays and breaker failure relays.

Program PLCs, HMIs, Drives and Servos for new applications.

Program production CNC machining equipment.

Mechanical Skills Required

Use precision measuring equipment to perform root‑cause analysis on equipment.

Understand and isolate equipment failure through sequence of operation and configuration.

Organize and carry out preventative maintenance programs.

Understand foreign industrial equipment, systems and their safety hazards.

Engineer process flows of equipment and related production needs.

Understand hydraulics components: various valves and valve actuators.

Understand code/license requirements.

Qualification And Skill Requirements

Class A Journeyman License required.

Minimum 2‑yr technical degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Training in use of Power Industrial Trucks (PIT).

Advanced PC and electrical control competencies required.

Advanced problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Leadership, mentoring and coaching of technicians and engineers.

Physical Requirements

Heavy lifting (replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc.) at low frequency.

Occasional squat, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel and balance.

Repetitive actions: simple tasks, grasping, firm grasping, fine manipulation.

Outside work, handling chemicals, working on ladders and platforms, confined space conditions, wearing PPE, handling hazardous waste, working near energized circuits and hot equipment.

Physical Demands For Essential Functions

Lift and carry up to 68 pounds.

Push and/or pull up to 92 pounds of force.

Pay Range $44.65 - $55.87
