A Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist serves in a paraprofessional capacity as part of the crisis intervention unit. The position assists clients with paperwork related to pending admissions, discharges, and post‑discharge phases, and transportation of patients/clients to and from inpatient psychiatric and crisis stabilization placements. The role performs a backup to the crisis worker, supports informational crisis phone contacts, coordinates care for clients in crisis stabilization sites, and provides in‑person medication deliveries, welfare checks, and phone prompts. This position is responsible for assisting clients to develop and implement their personal wellness goals. Required Education and Experience
For adults: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and/or serious mental illness. For children: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience working with children involved with mental health, addiction, and/or foster care. Bachelor’s degree with 1 year relevant experience also qualifies. Other Duties
Assisting with the coordination of client care in crisis stabilization sites, delivering medications, and conducting welfare checks. Seniority Level
