Schedule 40 hours per week, First Shift, on emergency call 24/7
Responsibilities
Perform facility maintenance activities at the FAA‑certificated university airport.
Conduct airfield, building, and airport grounds inspections and maintenance.
Assist with vehicle inspections, security, and public safety functions.
Operate construction equipment and vehicles, including snow removal equipment on runways, taxiways, and airport grounds.
Assist with special events at the airport.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
Required: Current valid driver’s license and ability to pass FAA‑required airport driver’s test within 60 days of employment.
Desired: Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), AAAE Basic ASOS, familiarity with Federal Air Regulation Parts 36, 77, 14 CFR Part 139, and 150 series Advisory Circulars, working knowledge of general trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Compensation Target hiring range: $18.37–$23.99 per hour (actual salary will vary based on education, experience, internal equity, etc.).
