Base pay range: $15.49/hr – $18.00/hr.
Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive, delightful customer experience.
Register sales on the assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, including processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
Practice and share customer service best practices with team members.
Keep counters and shelves clean, maintain merchandise, take inventory, check in and price items as directed.
Implement asset‑protection procedures, minimize profit loss, and ensure compliance with regulations concerning regulated products.
Construct and maintain displays (promotional, seasonal, superstructures, sale merchandise), perform resets and revisions as directed.
Separate food items, manage stock rotation using FIFO, and ensure proper product placement.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide customer service in the photo area (digital passport photo, poster printing, creative machines, suggestive selling of photo products).
Assume web‑pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders, pick items, and deliver orders to customers.
Assist with exterior and interior maintenance for a clean, orderly store condition.
Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a retail environment for at least six months.
Prior work experience with Walgreens.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
