This role is for a **Waving Supervisor** responsible for managing the wave planning and execution process, ensuring that customer orders are released, picked, packed, and shipped efficiently.
Shift Details:
Friday – Sunday, 12‑hour shift, 4:00 pm–4:00 am.
Core Responsibilities
Wave Planning Analyze order volumes and shipping deadlines.
Coordinate with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to create effective waves.
Prioritize high‑urgency or time‑sensitive orders.
Execution Oversight Monitor real‑time progress of picking waves.
Adjust wave release timing to avoid bottlenecks.
Ensure labor is properly allocated across waves.
Communication & Coordination Work closely with Inventory Control, Picking & Packing Supervisors, and Outbound Teams.
Ensure smooth transitions from one operational step to another.
System Management Use WMS/ERP systems to trigger waves, track wave status, and troubleshoot system or order issues.
Performance Monitoring Track metrics such as wave completion times, order accuracy, and throughput efficiency.
Report issues or delays and recommend process improvements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Strong understanding of warehouse processes.
WMS proficiency (Manhattan).
Attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure in fast‑paced environments.

Required Education and Experience

Salary and Benefits National salary range: $62,500 – $70,000.
California: $70,304 – $82,000.
Washington: $80,169 – $82,000.
