Telework options: subject to change based on business needs.

Work Schedule: a variety of at‑day, evening and weekend courses, primarily face‑to‑face with possibility of remote instruction.

Responsibilities

Teach developmental and/or college‑level courses, including distance‑learning courses during the day, evening, weekdays and weekends.

Maintain a positive and safe learning environment.

Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and report incidents.

Provide effective didactic and skills instruction to adult learners.

Hold review, remediation and office hour sessions for students.

Maintain participation and performance records.

Collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum development, instructional design and assessment.

Provide timely and appropriate response to student, staff and partner inquiries.

Participate in professional development and partner onboarding requirements.

Maintain professional competence, certifications and licensure.

Assist in student recruitment activities.

Required Qualifications (KSA's)

Current certification as a phlebotomist (NHA, ASCP, etc.)

Two years of direct patient care as a phlebotomist

Combination of education and industry credentials to demonstrate content expertise.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Commitment to community college philosophy and student success.

Additional Considerations

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant healthcare field.

Experience teaching adult learners and/or in a community college.

Experience teaching online and/or hybrid courses.

Experience using Canvas or similar learning management system.

Recent experience preparing adult students for success on credentialing exams.

Current AHA‑BLS CPR certification.

Operating Vehicle / Travel To and from any college campus/site location as assigned. No required travel.
