Assist with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in active hospital environments Support senior technicians during service calls, inspections, and preventive maintenance Perform basic electrical work on lighting systems and controls, panels, circuits, and branch wiring, receptacles, switches, and low‑voltage systems Follow established procedures for working near live electrical systems Observe and support Man‑in‑Attendance (MIA) activities as required Respond to service requests and minor electrical issues in a timely manner Maintain accurate service documentation and logs required by healthcare facilities Adhere strictly to safety standards including NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and hospital policies Maintain a clean, professional demeanor and work area at all times Qualifications
Minimum
2 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience Electrical apprentice license required Basic knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices Strong willingness to learn healthcare electrical standards and systems Able to follow direction and work effectively in occupied, patient‑care environments Good communication skills and professionalism Ability to pass background checks and health system onboarding requirements Active hospital and medical facilities experience High‑visibility environments requiring attention to detail and professionalism Occasional after‑hours, weekend, or on‑call work as needed Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs Additional Information
