gpac is working with a dairy manufacturing company south of La Crosse, Wisconsin seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to join their leadership team and develop management skills. The company, a well‑known food manufacturer with 30+ years in the industry, seeks a leader who will oversee manufacturing, efficiency, inventory, safety, and maintenance for the department and shift, collaborating with other supervisors and management to achieve company and facility goals.
Responsibilities
Manage and coach the team to success, ensuring manufacturing productivity and efficiency for the shift.
Oversee 2nd shift operations (Mon‑Fri 1pm‑9pm).
Collaborate with other shift departments.
Follow and enforce all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
Ensure safety for all employees.
Troubleshoot and work with the Maintenance team.
Communicate shift performance and production issues to the Management team, including planning and issue resolution.
Ideal Candidate
3+ years of experience in a dairy manufacturing facility.
Highly motivated with strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to operate all equipment necessary for manufacturing operations.
Familiarity with data management programs.
Strong understanding of GMPs and Food Safety.
Leadership mindset, excellent communication, and drive.
