Production Control Supervisor
SUMMARY:
The Production Control supervisor is responsible for the effectiveness, efficiency, and integrity of the day‑to‑day operations of the MRO site. The person will be a hands‑on leader providing direction, coaching and management to the team. The position is both strategic and detail‑oriented, with proven operations, supply chain and technical experience in an aerospace MRO environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and manage timeclock and attendance exceptions.
Delegate and follow up on production needs/tasks to the production supervisors.
Create and implement process improvements to enhance our customer experience.
Actively participate in future growth plans for their team that focus on enhancing performance metrics.
Hold their team accountable for their production levels and organizational expectations.
Provide oversight and direction to their direct reports.
Provide all new and/or reoccurring training and technical support to their direct reports.
Monitor and assist production flow of components.
Conduct daily stand‑ups with team and Production Supervisors.
Conduct daily stand‑ups with the Customer Service and Distribution Teams with focus on expected deliverables and production rates.
Conduct daily stand‑ups with Inventory to discuss part shortages and deliverables that may affect production flow.
Validate information on the Production Displays is accurate and raise awareness to any discrepancies identified.
Complete Character training and team building events.
Communicate production challenges/needs daily to the Production Coordinators and to the Operations Manager.
Attend training courses as required.
Be involved with new capabilities within department.
Maintain records of all work performed that affects performance metrics.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload of assigned employees within a multiple project setting.
Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, project, email, and web‑based application.
Other duties as assigned.
