Machine Operator and Production Worker 2nd Shift

Machine Operator Responsibilities
Operates the isostatic lamination machine by loading parts and operating the vacuum sealer.
Sample and check temperature and water level.
Maintain oil pins and pressure grease the pin.
Package plates in sealed bags; plates are packaged and sealed two per bag.
Inspect lamination bags for defects before use.
Loading and unloading material onto setters.
Production Worker Responsibilities
Spread part in the setters, either manually or via machine per traveler requirements.
Release parts by rolling them by hand.
Complete travelers before forwarding to the next department.
Cross‑train for other jobs so that employees can occasionally fill in other departments when required.
Hourly Rate (Non‑Exempt):
$17.75 - $18.50 per hour (DOE)
Work Schedule (Monday‑Friday):
3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Training for this position will be scheduled for up to 3 weeks during the 1st shift schedule (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) prior to working on 2nd shift (11:15 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.)

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
At least three (3) months in a manufacturing environment
Some experience using a microscope
Basic computer skills
Good math skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in an electronic component manufacturing environment.
Physical and Mental Demands
Use of microscope, 5% of shift
Standing/Walking 90% of shift; Sitting up to 10%
Stooping and bending 60% of shift; Twisting of neck and waist 80% of shift.
Frequent movement up and down a three‑step platform to access the machine up to 40% of shift.
Occasionally required to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 35 lbs up to 50%.
Simple hand grasping 90% of shift; Fine hand manipulation 5% of shift.
Will occasionally work in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate adaptability.
Must understand and follow a set of clear verbal and/or written procedures without deviation.
Must adhere to a provided work schedule to meet a set of qualitative production standards.
Interact with co‑workers to complete tasks.
Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
Perform assigned tasks.
Work Environment This job operates in a manufacturing/warehouse environment and will occasionally be exposed to hot working conditions. The role is exposed to chemicals and will use protective equipment such as an apron, gloves, and eyewear (when cleaning). It occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers and photocopiers.
