Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Are You the Reliability Partner Our Mill Needs? Can you turn vibration data into clear decisions? Build rock‑solid BOMs? Lead a shutdown plan that runs like clockwork? If so, bring your skill to our 24/7 paper mill and co‑fired boiler operation, where you’ll drive preventive strategies, implement design improvements, and help the Maintenance Manager hit mission‑critical goals.

What You’ll Tackle

Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) to eliminate recurrence and stabilize performance.

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to anticipate and prevent breakdowns.

Create and maintain equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Manage the rotating equipment reliability program with attention to centrifugal pumps, vibration analysis, mechanical seals, bearings, and lubrication.

Lead and elevate the site’s lubrication plan.

Embed Design for Reliability on project teams, guiding choices for new and modified equipment and facilities.

Provide technical support, team leadership, and project management for installations and modifications that enhance infrastructure, reliability, and uptime.

Plan, prepare, and execute maintenance during mill/department shutdowns.

Oversee contractors and their preventive maintenance scope.

Maintain, expand, and improve the preventive maintenance program.

Ensure repair and operating practices meet regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of safety for the mill and its people.

Lead repairs or special projects at the Maintenance Manager’s request; assist with additional duties as needed.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering.

At least 3 years as a Reliability Engineer and 5+ years of related technical manufacturing support experience; pulp & paper exposure preferred.

Proficiency in predictive maintenance methods: oil analysis, ultrasonic/sonic, vibration analysis, and thermography.

Proven ability to plan and organize work independently.

Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving, leadership, and communication skills.

CMMS experience.
