Company Summary:
A leading IPP with a project pipeline of 13GW is looking to grow their team! They focus on Utility Scale PV projects, supporting from development through O&M. The team is looking to bring on an experience Civil Engineer III to join in Durham, NC!
Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead and manage design and engineering teams to perform site constraint analyses, including zoning, topography, environmental factors, and soil conditions.
Coordinate and oversee consultant services (civil, environmental, survey), including scope development, contract administration, and invoice review.
Control project schedules and budgets while ensuring compliance with all applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.
Serve as Engineer-of-Record for erosion, sediment control, and stormwater plans, including calculations and permit submittals to AHJs.
Direct preparation and revisions of site/civil plans and respond to AHJ comments to maintain regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering
Civil Land development experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
EIT or PE preferred
PV experience preferred
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
