Summary – Fabricator / Welder:
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder that would be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal by applying appropriate welding techniques to support the production of high quality, small batch products with a well-respected long-standing precision manufacturer in Kansas City.

Responsibility Summary – Fabricator / Welder:
Use manual and CNC controlled saws, lathes, drill press, and grinder to fabricate metal to specifications
Arc, TIG, and MIG welding
Read and interpret blueprints and other shop documentation
Leads or supports prototype fabrication and process development for new or custom products
Follow safety and quality standards.
Qualification Summary – Fabricator / Welder:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of related welding and fabrication experience
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
Advanced knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking practices, including proficiency with multiple welding processes
Familiarity with ERP systems, lean manufacturing, 5S and continues improvement principles
Must have good math skills
Able to safely lift up to 50lbs
