Position Summary This full-time, mid-senior level supervisory role is located at our Plymouth Production and Distribution facility. As 2nd Shift Production Supervisor you will oversee second-shift operations and coordinate with other shift supervisors, the production manager, line leads, safety managers, and human resources.
Responsibilities
Supervise 2nd-shift operations and maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Coordinate with other shift supervisors, production manager, line leads, safety managers and HR.
Continuously improve overall effectiveness by reducing safety incidents, processing and packaging costs, improving product quality and employee morale.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Supervisory Management, Manufacturing Operations or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years supervisory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with production staff and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and supervisory skills with a coaching mentality.
Knowledge of LOTO procedures, production processes and packaging operations.
Understanding of human-resources related laws and regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and occasional weekend/extra hours as needed.
Willingness to perform additional duties assigned by the Production Manager, Senior Director or other plant executive.
