Position Overview
We are a leading protein producer focused on quality, sustainability, and innovation. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for our 1st shift operations, responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities within our food production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all machinery and equipment are running efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Schedule 5am-5pm, Rotating weekends (3-4 schedule).
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and activities to ensure efficient operations.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for production equipment to prevent downtime.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs.
Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance supervision, particularly in food production or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of food processing equipment and maintenance practices.
Experience with maintenance management software is a plus.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
