Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for production.
Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and profitability improvements.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and financial performance.
Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all audit requirements.
Oversee fixed asset management, including depreciation, capital expenditure tracking, and disposal processes.
Recommended Qualifications
7-10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with significant time in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
Expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing specific to manufacturing operations.
Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced financial modeling in Excel.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency with advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies to financial processes.
Prior involvement in ERP system implementations or significant upgrades within a manufacturing environment.
Exposure to multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
