Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, specifically for manufacturing operations.
Manage cost accounting activities, including product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize manufacturing efficiency and profitability.
Manage working capital, monitor cash flow, and oversee treasury functions for manufacturing facilities.
Coordinate and manage external audits, serving as the primary liaison for financial information.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA highly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing within manufacturing operations.
Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and lead a finance team.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with advanced manufacturing ERP modules (e.g., production costing, inventory valuation, supply chain finance).
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and their financial impact.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for enhanced financial reporting and analysis.
Demonstrated experience supporting M&A activities or strategic capital expenditure planning.
