Civil Engineer – Water & Wastewater EIT Location: San Antonio, TX
Primary Responsibilities
Perform water analysis and design studies, detailing and plan set production.
Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer and produce quality designs and plans, interpreting plans from other engineering disciplines (survey, utility, etc.).
Assist with planning, budgeting, and schedule tracking.
Assist with water & wastewater master planning, design, and technical reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
0‑4 years of experience in engineering water & wastewater design and plan production.
License, EIT Certification, or ability to obtain an EIT certification within six months of hire.
Ability to work independently at times and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Considerations
Experience in MicroStation and ORD.
Experience with HEC‑HMS and HEC‑RAS.
Familiarity with 2‑D modeling such as HEC‑RAS 2D, ICM, or SWMM.
Experience in ArcGIS.
TxDOT or municipal design experience.
