Summary Large Mining Trucks and Off-Highway Truck Engine/Power Installation and Cooling Team. Our team designs systems that integrate engine and cooling interfaces into our machine platforms.
Responsibilities
Upon receipt of project, determine scope and necessary actions
Perform Creo 3D modeling and change notification process
Collaborate with other system teams for space claim as needed
Collaborate with operations to “Go, See, Act” for factory related issues
Review field history and implement lessons learned
Coordinate updates to drawings and engineering notices
Work with cross-functional teams to schedule production implementation
Collaboration with other system teams (Electrical, Light Structures, etc.) and the Large Mining Truck Product Group
Collaborate with operations from factory assemblers and operations, quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers
Collaborate with suppliers to understand process limitations and improvements
Qualifications
Years of experience: 0-2 years experience
Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required
Proficiency in TeamCenter or equivalent software (release workflow tool)
Ability to perform Creo Simulate analysis (or equivalent)
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
Presentation experiences — ability to create & present stakeholder updates
Team player and detail oriented
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time efficiently

Mechanical aptitude
Delivering results while working multiple projects
Working within diverse skilled workforce
Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics required
Knowledge of engineering processes, drawing standards and specifications required
Proficiency in Creo (Pro/E) modeling and simulation tools (or equivalent)
Knowledge and experience with problem solving — determining root cause, troubleshooting, concept generation, etc.
Product development experience including product design, validation test and/or simulation
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross functional teams and deliver proven, high-quality, cost-effective designs within committed timelines
Mechanical aptitude with ability to develop product concepts
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $27.00 – $28.00 /hour.
