Role Summary The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations at a property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Property Leasing and Administration
Regular and daily onsite attendance required
Show, lease, and move‑in prospective residents, including greeting, qualifying, touring the community, and signing leases
Execute all functions necessary to close a lease, including appointments, lead generation, tours, unit maintenance, and follow‑up
Complete all leasing paperwork prior to move‑in
Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turnover process
Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours
Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals
Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction
Assist in developing resident retention programs such as community events, promotions, and newsletters
Contribute to the upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and models
Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan outreach and market analysis
Provide thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey reports
Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
Ensure consistency in resident interactions and enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills and understanding of onsite software functions
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
Physical Requirements
Regular movement between work sites, communication with others, and repeated wrist, hand, and finger motions
Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and step stools; stand or sit for prolonged periods
Occasional weight lifting up to 25 lbs, operating machinery or vehicles, working in various environments, and exposure to hazardous chemicals
Salary Range:
$18 per hour to $20 per hour
