Tax Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing various tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and advising clients on tax-related issues. This position plays a critical role in helping our clients navigate complex tax regulations while maximizing their financial benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1041) accurately and timely.
Review and analyze financial information to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Provide tax planning advice and strategies to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
Assist clients with audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure the firm’s practices remain compliant and beneficial to clients.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA certification preferred but not required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax preparation.
In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficient in using tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
