Senior Inventory Accountant
opportunity for our client in Concord, NC. They are a Division of an Industry Leading $10B company!
Total Comp $100K PLUS, Top Benefits & Incredible Growth Potential
Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and summarize cost information for products, services, or projects and convert to suggested sales price.
Prepare quotes and manage sales orders in the ERP system.
Monitor actual costs versus estimated costs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities including fixed asset management, balance sheet reconciliations, inventory variance analysis, project cost & revenue recognition and preparation of financial reports.
Collaborate with operations and production teams to review processes, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and support strategic decision‑making.
Conduct inventory analysis and physical inventory counts to ensure proper valuation and reconciliation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of the ERP system.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
BS Accounting, CPA or CMA certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in an accounting role at a manufacturing company or in combination with public accounting experience.
Ability to thrive with multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, proficient in ERP systems and financial reporting applications (D365 F&O, and Power BI a plus).
