We are a privately held, boutique family office serving clients with complex, multi-asset portfolios. We are seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and clients to deliver high-quality accounting, reporting, and financial coordination in a highly personalized service environment.
Location:
Midland, TX (on‑site). Open to candidates seeking relocation.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
Health, Vision & Dental coverage with 70% employer paid
401(k) with 4% match after 1 year

Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA‑track is a plus but not required
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a family office, HNW, or multi‑entity environment
Strong command of GAAP and multi‑entity accounting across LLCs, partnerships, trusts, and private investments
Working knowledge of individual and entity tax compliance, estimates, and supporting schedules
Advanced Excel skills; experience with cloud‑based accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or QuickBooks Online
Proven ability to manage sensitive financial information with the highest level of discretion and integrity
Background & Skills
Demonstrated experience overseeing complex accounting and reporting for multiple related entities and structures
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reconciliation skills in high‑volume, detail‑driven environments
Solid understanding of trust and estate accounting, wealth‑transfer concepts, and entity structures
Experience interpreting financial, legal, and investment documents including K‑1s, capital calls, and operating agreements
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and client requests efficiently
Client‑service oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills for advisor and client interaction
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Oversee full‑cycle AP/AR workflows, general ledger accuracy, and monthly/quarterly close across multiple entities
Prepare reconciliations, complex journal entries, client confirmation reports, and financial reporting packages
Manage treasury and cash operations including liquidity monitoring, transfers, and banking relationships
Coordinate all tax‑related documentation, filings, estimates, K‑1s, and 1099 workflows with external CPAs
Support investment administration including capital call tracking, investment reconciliations, and reporting coordination
Partner closely with leadership to deliver special reporting, ad‑hoc analyses, and client financial deliverables
