The Loan Processor will provide standard loan processing support to loan officers. This employee will also possibly provide Spanish interpretation services as needed. Skills Needed
Typing (minimum of 30 words per minute) Strong Math Skills Orderliness and Organizational Skills Ability to communicate clearly and concisely Calmness under pressure Ability to operate office machines, such as computer, photocopier, fax, scanner, E-mail, and standard and financial calculator Fluency in Spanish preferred Preferred Experience
At least 5 years experience working for a mortgage broker Loan Officer Loan Underwriter Basic Duties
to assist the Loan Officers with the clerical & analytical tasks of loan origination Verify that all authorizations and disclosures are provided to borrowers and received back from borrower(s) fully signed and dated. Make copies of documents received from borrowers. Pull Credit Reports as needed. Register and submit loans to lenders, and generate disclosures for borrowers to e-Sign. Run Automated Underwriting for conventional and government loan applications Communicate with borrowers to give status updates and request needed documents from them. Gather property documents, insurance statements, mortgage statements, rental agreements, W2s, paystubs, income taxes, bank statements and retirement statements as needed from the client, as well as any other needed documents Communicate with loan officer in regards to the gathering of documentation for conditional approvals from third party lenders. Use available resources to arrive at potential property value Review credit, income, and debt ratio to verify suitability of the loan program selected for the borrowers. Analyze income documentation for income amounts, as well as analyze bank statements for income for subprime and private loans Inspect, photograph, and report on property condition, and repair completion status for loans we may service Open escrow and order the preliminary title report Order the appraisal and Insurance Binder Pull Environmental Reports from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality website. Prepare and send the Loan Investment Package to Investors for private loans we originate.
