A Total Solution is a fast-growing life safety company specializing in installation and service of fire alarm, fire sprinkler and security systems for commercial clients.
We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Accountant with an excellent working knowledge of General Accounting and Quick Books Desktop. This is a highly visible position, candidates will have a significant and immediate impact, and a path for growth.
The successful candidate will use well developed analytical and general accounting skills for journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement review, project management and KPI reporting. Will need forward thinking to analyze and resolve both accounting and operational problems, relying on experience in process improvement.
Strong Quick Books Desktop knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, inventory, accruals, adjusting journal entries and financial reporting.
Desire to thrive and grow in a positive, fast-paced and less structured environment.
The position is full-time on-site.
Requirements for Application and Consideration
Minimum 3 - 5 years of proven general accounting and business administration experience
The preferred candidate will have experience in commercial service trade accounting in company size of $5M - $15M, project job costing and percentage of completion accounting a strong plus
High level of competency in MS Excel required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF Stmts)
Advanced expertise in Quick Books Desktop required
Excellent communication skills to include written, grammatical, and verbal
Strong leadership and influencing skills across various teams
Supervisory experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
