Vaco Phoenix is hiring a Payroll Analyst with UKG experience to support full-cycle, high-volume, multi-state payroll operations. This is a full-time, hybrid role located in Tempe, AZ.
Base pay range $31.00/hr - $34.00/hr
Responsibilities
Process full-cycle, high-volume payroll across multiple states in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Administer payroll using UKG, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity
Manage payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
Review, audit, and reconcile payroll data; identify and resolve discrepancies quickly
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policies
Partner with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to address payroll-related issues and employee inquiries
Support payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processes (W‑2s, tax filings, reconciliations)
Continuously improve payroll processes and documentation to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume, full-cycle, multi-state payroll environment
UKG experience required
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
