Job Responsibilities
Perform month‑end closing processes and prepare journal entries for inventory, cost of goods sold, and fixed assets.
Reconcile accounts related to inventory, cost of sales, and the general ledger with accuracy and timeliness.
Analyze variances such as purchase price differences and work order variances to support cost control.
Assist with inventory costing activities and maintain related data within the ERP system.
Support internal and external audits, including SOX testing and annual financial reviews.
Requirements
Apply cost and inventory accounting expertise within a manufacturing environment.
Maintain eligibility to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or green card holder.
Leverage strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to support accounting operations.
Adapt to public company processes and reporting requirements when applicable.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of cost accounting experience in public or private industry.
Demonstrate experience working within medium to large accounting environments.
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to perform financial analysis and reporting.
Apply knowledge of ERP systems and fixed asset software to support accounting functions.
