Billing Specialist

The Role C&H Industrial Services is looking for a
detail-driven Billing Specialist
who knows construction billing and takes pride in getting invoices right—and paid on time. You’ll own the billing process from contract review through collections, working closely with Project Managers, clients, and leadership to keep cash flowing and projects moving.
If you’re comfortable with AIA, T&M, retainage, lien waivers, and client portals, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Manage the full billing lifecycle from setup to payment.
Prepare accurate invoices based on contracts, change orders, and project progress.
Ensure billing complies with Company policies, legal standards, and client requirements.
Calculate retainage and prepare lien waivers as required.
Upload invoices to client portals (COUPA, Ariba, Textura, Track, CDMS, etc.).
Review contracts, POs, and change orders to identify billable terms and documentation.
Resolve billing questions with clients, Project Managers, and subcontractors.
Monitor aging reports, follow up on approvals, and support collections.
Audit open work orders to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Assist with reporting, project setup, and process improvements.
What You Bring
Construction billing experience required.
Strong knowledge of
T&M and AIA billing (G702/G703) .
Familiarity with construction contracts, lien laws, and billing best practices.
Experience with ERP or construction software (Procore, Sage, NetSuite preferred).
Excellent communication, organization, and Excel skills.
Detail-oriented, flexible, and team-focused.
