Seasonal Audit Manager

Executive Director - Consulting & Temporary Services at Mission Staffing Our client is seeking an Assurance / Audit Lead to join their growing audit practice on the West Coast. This role is ideal for a public accounting professional with strong audit experience who is ready to take ownership of engagements, manage day‑to‑day execution, and serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Lead assurance and audit engagements from planning through completion

Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior audit staff

Perform and review risk assessments, testing, and audit documentation

Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and firm methodologies

Communicate findings, issues, and recommendations to clients and engagement leadership

Assist with engagement scheduling, budgeting, and workflow management

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting (audit/assurance required)

Experience leading or acting as senior on audit engagements

CPA is a plus but not required

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and audit standards

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Base pay range $60.00/hr - $63.00/hr
