We are seeking an experienced and dynamic AP Manager to join our client in the fast‑paced and ever‑evolving energy industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional who is ready to take their career to the next level. The AP Manager will oversee and manage the company’s accounts payable function while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including invoice processing, payment processing, and month‑end closing. Maintain and improve accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Implement and enforce policies and procedures for the accounts payable function to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure accurate and timely 3‑Way Match and Purchase Orders. Collaborate with project managers and other key stakeholders to provide accurate project accounting. Prepare and present financial reports related to accounts payable for senior management. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounts payable staff. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best terms. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits. Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Advanced degree or certification such as CPA is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in the energy industry is highly preferred. Proficiency in 3‑Way Match, Purchase Orders, and Project Accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
