Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

A great UHY client is seeking an

AP Manager

to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proven management experience, experience with multiple entities and ERP systems and AP automation or workflow systems experience.

The

AP Manager

role is an hybrid position. This is a client direct hire position.

Oversee daily accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, and issue resolution

Monitor cash requirements to support accurate and on‑time disbursements

Lead and support an accounts payable team, providing guidance, oversight, and performance management

Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, internal controls, and audit standards

Manage and enhance automated AP tools, workflows, and expense management systems

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Develop, maintain, and enforce accounts payable policies and procedural documentation

Oversee vendor setup, maintenance, and compliance documentation

Monitor aging reports, payment schedules, and exception items

Maintain accuracy and integrity of accounts payable records and ledgers

Prepare or review accounts payable accruals and reconciliations

Support weekly, monthly, and period‑end close activities in accordance with deadlines

Partner with internal teams to improve processes and resolve issues

Address escalated inquiries from internal stakeholders and external partners

Support internal and external audits, including documentation and follow‑up

Oversee annual vendor reviews and required tax reporting processes

Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned

AP Manager Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field

Solid knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes

Strong proficiency in spreadsheet and financial software tools

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
