As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you’ll develop and grow your own practice, supported by your branch team, a home‑office team and other regional advisors. Key Responsibilities

Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual strategies (residential, business, networking, introductions, referrals, social media, speaking engagements).

Deeply understand clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized strategies.

Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve desired results.

Create a highly engaging environment of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or equivalent industry experience.

Financial services and/or sales experience.

Financial services registration, licensing, or certification.

Professional or military career progression.

Licensing

SIE (can be obtained without firm sponsorship) and Series 7 & Series 66 required; if not registered, registrations may be obtained during an assigned paid study period.

FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses also required.

Ongoing training and continuing education to keep licenses in good standing.

Compensation Supplemental starting salary ranges from $45,000–$100,000 and includes commissions, compensation for assets gathered for the first five years, and profit sharing. Details can be discussed during the interview.
