Finance Systems Analyst II
United Community is looking for a Finance Systems Analyst II to be responsible for assisting with the day‑to‑day oversight and application of Accounting’s Finance business performance management database environments. This includes configuration, optimization, development, maintenance, and reporting of these systems.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain processes to extract and prepare data from disparate sources using ETL tools for loading into Finance System databases.
Provide timely updates to Finance System databases where applicable.
Implement methods for reconciling Finance System databases to source system data and ensure data integrity.
Develop and maintain reporting from accounting‑administered system tools.
Identify opportunities and implement procedures to automate and streamline data processes.
Assist with Finance System budget application per SLA with Management Reporting.
Support administration of Accounting’s system tools and monthly closing processes.
Assist with M&A activity, including GL mapping, data feed preparation, and GL data integration at legal close.
Maintain documentation for financial management tools and processes.
Train and support Accounting staff on EPM and related tools.
Provide backup to the Finance Systems Administrator.
Respond timely to audit inquiries as assigned.
Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti‑money laundering training.
Requirements For Success
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field preferred; Finance/Accounting experience a plus.
Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel.
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio preferred.
Strong background in data systems design and EPM tools (in‑house and cloud environments).
Experience with data mining tools such as Alteryx, Monarch, or similar.
Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience/Education
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
Conditions of Employment
Must be able to pass a background & credit check.
This is a full‑time position.
Up to 10% travel required.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Pay Range USD $49,972.00 - USD $76,958.00 /Yr.
