Certified Medication Assistant (QMAP)
to work at a facility in
Canon City, CO . These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate:
$26 / hour

Shifts Available:
0600-1920
Minimum Qualifications:
At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Certified Medication Assistant (QMAP)
Must have up to date certification in the state of CO
CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology
Job Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medications to residents/patients
Document medication administration accurately
Follow proper procedures for medication storage and disposal
Observe and report any changes in patient condition
Assist with daily living activities (eating, bathing, dressing)
Ensure medication rights are followed (right patient, dose, time, etc.)
Communicate with nurses and other healthcare staff
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions
Follow all facility policies and state regulations regarding medication administration
