About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Senior Accountant
to join our energetic team of seven finance professionals supporting an $800 million division of a global, publicly traded organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the division’s
financial reporting, analysis, and month‑end close process , ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial results. This position offers exposure to both
corporate and operational accounting , with opportunities to collaborate across departments and contribute to process improvements within a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with
U.S. GAAP . Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses to support the close process. Assist with
consolidation, intercompany transactions, and eliminations
within the global reporting structure. Support the preparation of
management reporting packages , KPIs, and ad hoc analyses for leadership. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper accounting for revenues, expenses, and capital projects. Participate in the
annual audit process , including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Ensure compliance with
SOX
and internal control requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
required; CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred. 2+ years of progressive accounting experience , with at least 2 years in
public accounting
highly preferred. Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP , financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with
ERP systems
(SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced
Excel
skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Why Join Us
