Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Manage and optimize cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and providing actionable insights to management.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
Deep expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing an accounting team.
Bonus Qualifications
Deep experience with specific manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) beyond standard user functions, including implementation or optimization.
Certification or practical experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization and cost reduction.
Proficiency in advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for enhanced financial reporting and analysis.
Experience with multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
